
- Bangkok is in Indochina Time (ICT), GMT+7, with no daylight saving adjustments.
- Thailand’s entry rules are: all travelers must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 72 hours before arrival, and proof of sufficient funds may be requested. Most nationalities currently receive 60-day visa-free entry, though this is expected to shorten to 30 days once new rules take effect — delegates should confirm current requirements with the Royal Thai Embassy or thaievisa.go.th before travel.
- Thailand uses 220V, 50Hz with Type A, B, C, and O power outlets.
- Weekdays are Monday to Friday. Bank hours are generally 08:30–15:30, with no siesta closures — shops and malls typically stay open through the afternoon and evening.
- The Thai Baht (฿) is the official currency. Major currencies can be exchanged at banks, exchange counters, and airports; ATMs dispense Baht only.

- GSM standard mobile phones function on 900/1800 with 4G/5G connections. To purchase a Thai SIM card, please bring your passport. Travel WiFi devices are also available for purchase at the airport and many retail outlets.
